Welcome to Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Development Trust
Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Development Trust (KKDT) was established as a Scottish Incorporated Charitable Organisation (SICO) in June 2015 to lead on the implementation of the Community Action Plan for Kirkconnel and Kelloholm.
The trust supports the sustainable regeneration of the village with aims to improve quality of life for all residents through needs, challenges and aspirations identified by the community.
In practice, Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Development Trust operates as the community anchor organisation, overseeing and supporting all community groups and organisations as well as leading our own strategic projects. The trust is directed by our Board of Trustees and supported by a small group of staff who work together with a shared vision of community development.
