Kirkconnel and Kelloholm are hosting a Community Litter Pick on Saturday 16th March as part of the Keep Scotland Beautiful #SpringClean Scotland. Thanks to support from Brighten Up Kirkconnel and Kelloholm and our Community Council, all supplies will be provided to participants as well as refreshments after their efforts.
Below show findings from Keep Scotland Beautiful following last year’s Spring Clean Scotland which concluded that over 90% believe that litter is an issue in Scotland and 75% found that participating in Spring Clean Scotland’s Litter Picks made them feel part of a national movement that is taking action against our litter issue.
