KKDT would like to express our thanks to the various organisations which contributed to making our Family Cycling Fun Day such a success. Over 60 people registered and enjoyed the various activities on offer!
The day included activities like the bike Pump Track, Smoothie Bike, Cycling Games, and an opportunity to try out e-bikes, trikes and cargo bikes. Attendees also had the opoortunity to have their bike security tagged by Police Scotland, and checked by Dr Bike.
Thank you to Kelloholm Primary School, Sustrans, Police Scotland Dumfries & Galloway, Crawick and Nithsdale Wheelers, Lifelong Learning, Dumfries & Galloway Council, Muckmedden, and Bikeability for braving the windy conditions! Also to SWestTrans and Transport Scotland without whom the day would not have been possible.
